Activus Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Window Surveyor to assess customer orders for windows and doors. This role is ideal for a self-employed joiner with PVC window experience and offers flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure all windows and doors for manufacturing.

• Confirm styles, colours, and compliance with legal requirements.

• Prepare a cutting list for internal finishing materials.

• Assess properties to ensure safe and suitable installation conditions.

What Were Looking For:

• A background in joinery or window installation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to travel across Aberdeenshire, with occasional work in Dundee & Inverness.

Benefits & Pay:

• Flexible working: Approx. 3 days per week (can be structured to suit).

• Competitive pay: Based on the number of items per order (e.g., £60 for 4-7 items).

• Mileage covered in addition to earnings.

• Optional dual role: Potential to also work as a fitter or remedial engineer.
