Job Title:-Project Manager – Hardware & Tools

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Project Manager with excellent technical knowledge of tools, hardware, materials, finishes, and installation methods. The ideal candidate will be responsible ensuring technical accuracy, cost control, quality standards, and clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Also, act as a bridge between product design, marketing, and catalogue teams.

The role requires strong hands-on technical understanding, the ability to instantly identify materials and finishes, and proficiency in computer-based reporting and presentations, along with fluency in English.


Key Responsibilities:-

Technical Expertise – Tools, Hardware & Materials

Possess in-depth knowledge of tools, hardware fittings, fasteners, accessories, and systems.

Understand where each tool or hardware component is used, its specifications, and performance requirements.

Oversee and guide proper installation methods for tools and hardware as per industry standards.

Instantly identify materials, finishes, coatings, and surface treatments, ensuring correct selection and application.

Verify material quality, compatibility, and finish consistency at site or during procurement.

Vendor & Material Management

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for tools, hardware, and materials.

Compare technical specifications, finishes, pricing, and performance to recommend the best options.

Review samples, mock-ups, and technical datasheets before seeking approval.

Present project updates, technical comparisons, and recommendations to management or clients clearly.

Communication & Coordination

Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and project expectations.

Participate in meetings and present ideas, solutions, and project status confidently in English.


Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Excellent knowledge of tools, hardware systems, materials, and finishes.

Strong understanding of installation techniques and execution practices.

Ability to quickly identify materials, finishes, and hardware types by visual inspection.

Computer & Software Skills

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reports and presentations.

Ability to prepare comparison charts, cost analysis, and technical evaluation reports.

Basic knowledge of project management or drawing software is an advantage.

Communication Skills

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Ability to explain technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Problem-solving mind-set with the ability to take quick, informed decisions.


Educational Qualifications:-

Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in project management or construction are an added advantage.

Experience:-

2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role in tools, hardware, construction, interiors, manufacturing, or installation-based projects.

Proven experience in managing projects involving technical hardware and material execution.
