Job Title: MRI Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified MRI Tech to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services for patients in Iowa City, IA. In this role, you will operate and maintain MRI equipment, as well as collect, analyze, and prepare images for interpretation by a radiologist.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the process to them

- Operate MRI equipment and monitor patients during scans to ensure safety

- Collect and analyze diagnostic images, and prepare them for interpretation by a radiologist

- Maintain accurate patient records and update imaging reports

- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to provide the best possible patient care

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications and Skills:

- ARRT certification in MRI

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field

- Valid state licensure as an MRI Tech

- Understanding of MRI physics, anatomy, and computer technology

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
