Job Title: X-Ray Tech - Surgery Center

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced X-Ray Tech to join our team at the Surgery Center in Glenwood Springs, CO. As an X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images for surgeons and other medical professionals to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare providers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures on patients, following established policies and procedures.

- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment in a safe and effective manner.

- Help position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring that they are comfortable and properly aligned.

- Review images for quality and accuracy, making sure they are suitable for diagnosis and treatment.

- Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurately documented in medical charts.

- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

- Provide excellent customer service and positive communication with patients and staff.

- Keep up-to-date with industry changes, technology advancements, and new imaging techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

- Associates Degree in Radiological Science or a related field.

- ARRT certification and state license to practice radiologic technology.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

- Proficient computer skills.
