Job Title: X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech to join our team in Chico, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist medical professionals in diagnosing illnesses and injuries. The X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure high quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions

- Position patients properly to obtain clear and accurate images

- Ensure the safety of patients during procedures

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures

- Work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to evaluate images and assist in diagnosing illnesses and injuries

- Operate and maintain imaging equipment

- Follow safe radiation practices and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology or related field

- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

- Previous experience as an X-Ray Tech/Radiology Tech preferred

- Knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures

- Computer skills and knowledge of medical software

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment
