Technical/Functional Skills
- Possess good knowledge on advanced Technologies like Robots/Cobots, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), AGV etc.
- Ability to understand the functional architecture of AMR system
- Hands on experience in deployment of AGVs/AMRs/Cobots at site
- Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
- Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Controls Engineering Knowledge - Applies the application of controls hardware and software by specifying, reviewing, and approving company-owned and/or supplier designs for new or upgrades to existing equipment to interface with all levels of manufacturing systems.
- Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selects appropriate Robot equipment & associated systems (like Conveyor, Sensors, PLC, HMI etc.) which meets the Customer manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work directly with end-user Customer in the Engine Manufacturing Plant
- Coordinate with Customer & TCS offshore team for the planning to execution of multiple AMR programs in the site.
- Work closely with identified OEM suppliers based out of US, Europe & India for the supply of AMR & associated systems like conveyors, sensors, alarm systems, Fleet Managing software etc. Track the overall project status.
- To identify & propose the modifications / changes required in the existing line to adopt the AMR technology in the plant.
- Work closely with Plant IT for integration of AMR Fleet manager to make it touchless.
- Organize & Schedules weekly calls with Customer & TCS Offshore team
- Support Installation / Commissioning and final handover at Customer site
- To study the new opportunity across various areas within the plant & other customer sites in US (may need to visit other sites).
- Provide technical support to customer technicians/ engineers after the successful deployment of AMRs like trouble shooting, snag rectification, re-routing the path etc.
