Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility in Watertown, NY is seeking a Nationally Certified Surgical Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The primary responsibility of the Nationally Certified Surgical Tech will be to assist our surgeons during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Preparing surgical equipment and supplies

- Maintaining a clean and sterile operating room

- Assisting with patient positioning and preparation

- Passing surgical instruments to the surgeon during procedures

- Monitoring patient vital signs and anesthesia levels

- Assisting with wound closure and dressing changes

- Providing emotional support to patients and their families

- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided

Qualifications and Skills:

- Nationally Certified Surgical Tech certification required

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program preferred

- CPR certification required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
