Job Title: CT/Rad Tech

Job Summary:

As a CT/Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical examinations in radiology and computed tomography (CT) procedures on patients. You will use imaging technologies, including X-ray, CT scan, and MRI, to produce high-quality images of internal body structures. You will also be responsible for preparing and administering contrast material and drugs for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform radiologic and CT procedures on patients as ordered by physician or other healthcare providers.

Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality images.

Prepare patients for procedures by positioning them correctly and explaining the procedures and process.

Administer contrast materials and medications as necessary and directed by the physician or radiologist.

Evaluate images for quality to ensure accurate diagnostic results.

Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, imaging technique used, and patient reaction.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to obtain and discuss patient care needs.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Possess CT certification from ARRT.

Possess a current and valid state license to practice radiologic technology.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as a team member.
