Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

Our medical facility is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Reno, NV. The candidate should be able to perform specialized radiologic procedures including angiography, embolization, and vascular access. They will also assist physicians with interventional procedures, maintain radiology equipment, and provide patient care with compassion, skill, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform specialized radiologic procedures such as angiography, embolization, and vascular access.

- Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including biopsies, drainages, and stent placements.

- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.

- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, such as CT scanners, ultrasound machines, and fluoroscopes.

- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.

- Provide patient education and follow-up care.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field.

- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

- Knowledgeable in interventional procedures, radiation safety protocols, and medical terminology.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
