Job Title: Mammographer

Job Summary:

We are in search of a skilled and dynamic Mammographer to join our team here in Corvallis, OR. As a Mammographer, you will work alongside our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancers. You will be responsible for utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to produce and interpret high-quality mammography images. You will also play an active role in patient care and treatment planning, calling upon your extensive knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Accurately position patients and conduct mammography images

Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to produce high-quality images

Interpret and analyze images to identify abnormalities or concerns

Speak with patients regarding the significance of findings and assure patients throughout their visit

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to make proper diagnoses and develop efficient treatment plans

Ensure safety and quality control measures are adhered to ensure patient safety

Qualifications and Skills:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Registered Mammographer, credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

At least 2 years of experience as a Mammographer preferred

Knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology

Exceptional patient care skills and the ability to positively communicate with patients
