Job Title: X-Ray Tech

Job Summary:

Our medical center is seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech to join our team of healthcare professionals in Rio Rancho, NM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, producing high-quality images for review, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout the process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Preparing patients for diagnostic radiographic procedures

-Operating radiology equipment and producing high-quality images

-Providing exceptional care for patients during procedures

-Maintain accurate patient records and ensuring that all documentation is up to date

-Performing quality control checks on equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions

-Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

-Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications and Skills:

-Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

-Active ARRT certification in Radiography

-Current state licensure through the state of New Mexico

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to multitask and handle stress in a fast-paced environment

-Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

-Experience with PACS and RIS systems preferred
