CMA, Medical Assistant
Job Description:
Acestack is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of clinical and administrative duties to support our healthcare providers and ensure high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Provide telephone support
- Facilitate communication between customers and providers
- Assist with prescription refills
- Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam
- Perform phlebotomy duties
- Perform clinic laboratory tests
Preferred Certification:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Client does not require CMA but if candidate has an MA diploma, they must have at least one year experience as a Medical Assistant.
Clinic Support:
The Medical Assistant also may provide support to the clinic:
- Front desk/check-in support
- Ordering and stocking supplies
- Assistance with prior authorizations
