Job Title: CT/X-Ray Tech @ Socorro, NM

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT/X-Ray Tech to join our healthcare team in Socorro, NM. The CT/X-Ray Tech will operate CT and X-ray equipment, prepare and administer contrast agents to perform CT scans, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during examinations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Operate CT and X-ray equipment with precision and accuracy to produce high-quality scans and images

- Evaluate the technical adequacy of examinations and make necessary adjustments or reposition patients as required

- Prepare and administer contrast agents as required for performing CT scans

- Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to ensure patient comfort and safety

- Maintain patient records and update digital medical imaging systems with images and data

- Adhere to strict safety procedures, including the use of radiation protection devices and equipment

- Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area to ensure efficient and safe operation

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Current ARRT certification or eligibility

- Knowledge of CT/X-ray imaging procedures and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and work under pressure

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed

- BLS certification
