Job Title: Ultrasonographer

Job Summary:

Our healthcare provider in Zanesville, OH is looking for a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for producing high-quality images and reports that assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating medical issues of patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

- Record and document accurate patient history and relevant clinical data

- Analyze and interpret results in consultation with healthcare providers

- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide the best possible patient care

- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning

- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures set by the healthcare facility

- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

- Unrestricted license to practice in Ohio

- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and principles

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
