Responsible for automating the deployment, scaling and monitoring of the application. Sets up CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK stack). Works closely with Development Team to enable continuous integration and optimization.
DevOps Engineer:
Seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to implement and manage the infrastructure for our health claim management solution. You will utilize expertise in DevOps methodologies, private cloud, containerization, NoSQL databases, message brokering and orchestration to integrate development, operations and quality assurance workflows. Automate the build, secure deployment, testing, scaling and disaster recovery of applications across environments and container runtimes.
Ensure a scalable, optimized, highly available and resilient technical infrastructure with minimal costs, outages and data loss.
Technical Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand infrastructure, deployment, integration, performance and DR requirements including private cloud, containerization, NoSQL DBs (MongoDB), messaging (Kafka) and orchestration (Kubernetes) needs.
Set up private VMware vSphere/NSX or Nutanix AHV/Acropolis cloud environments with high availability and disaster recovery configurations. Implement Docker and Kubernetes/Swarm for container management. Run NoSQL DBs and message brokers as needed. Configure CI/CD pipelines to build, push, deploy, scale and roll back containerized applications.
Apply Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Chef for provisioning, configuration, deployment, containerization, networking, NoSQL DBs, message brokers and maintenance across environments. Enforce Infrastructure, Configuration, Container and Orchestration as Code best practices. Ensure reusability, enforceability and optimizability.
Monitor private cloud setup, containers, NoSQL DBs, message brokers, orchestration, compute/storage usage, performance, security, compliance, SLA adherence and costs. Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation, upgrade infrastructure, tune parameters or reduce OPEX. Automate simple repetitive tasks and scale/roll back components seamlessly.
Standardize tools, scripts, networks, storage policies, CI/CD workflows, rollouts, rollbacks, registrations and governance processes to ensure security, compliance, auditability, interoperability and efficiency across development lifecycles. Support and guide stakeholders including developers on best practices.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in private cloud, containerization, microservices architecture, NoSQL DBs, messaging, DevOps, monitoring and tooling. Build and share expertise through knowledge management and collaboration.
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a specialization in DevOps, Cloud Computing, Networking, Microservices Architecture or NoSQL/ messaging technologies.
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a proven track record of implementing private cloud, containers, NoSQL DBs, messaging middleware and orchestration across complex applications and microservices.
Expertise in VMware vSphere/NSX, Nutanix AHV/Acropolis, Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, Kafka, DevOps methodologies, continuous integration/delivery, configuration management, monitoring and networking. Skilled in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Certifications in vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB and Kafka. Optional but preferred.
