As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support to clients with disabilities. Your responsibilities include assisting clients in various settings, such as individual homes, community environments, and workplaces. You will help them build necessary skills, promote independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to clients with disabilities, following individualised care plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients.
  • Accompany clients to community outings, medical appointments, and social activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Working Hours

  • On a fortnightly roster (specific details to be discussed during the interview).

Pay Range

  • SCHADS Award Level 2.1 - 2.4, depending on qualifications and experience.
