Location : Chennai OMR - Navalur(6 days WFO)
An Apartment Association’s Accounts Executive handles financial records for the association. while also managing accounts payable, receivables, expenses, and assisting with financial reporting and audits.
This role demands strong accounting software skills viz. Tally attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a good understanding of financial regulations for accurate financial management within the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Record-Keeping:
• Ensure compliance with company financial standards and statutory guidelines.
Reporting & Compliance:
• Assist to file timely GST and Income Tax returns
• Prepare and submit financial statements and reports.
Accounts Management:
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including managing purchase bills and vendor payments.
• Process expense vouchers, manage reimbursements, and track travel expenses.
Budgeting & Audits:
• Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
• Coordinate with auditors and external accounting firms for audit processes – IT and GST.
Compliance & Administration:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor employee attendance and manage visitor logistics for clients and auditors.
Software Proficiency:
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally etc.
