Senior Backend Engineer & DevOps Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with DevOps expertise to transform our functional prototype into a production-ready, scalable SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will architect and implement a robust multi-tenant system capable of handling scheduled web automation tasks across thousands of concurrent users.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert our existing web automation prototype into a scalable, production-grade service
• Design and implement a multi-tenant architecture with isolated client workspaces
• Build sophisticated task queuing and scheduling systems with asynchronous processing
• Develop intelligent rate-limiting mechanisms to prevent API throttling
• Implement secure user authentication and workspace management
• Create monitoring systems to track automation success rates and system health
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps practices

Technical Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python backend development
• Strong knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL) for workflow state management
• Experience with job queue systems (Redis, RabbitMQ, Bull, Celery)
• Proficiency with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with browser automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium)
• Understanding of proxy management and request fingerprinting
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure cloud infrastructure

Bonus Skills

• Experience with scheduled task management at scale
• Knowledge of detecting and avoiding automation detection systems
• Background in B2B SaaS platforms with usage-based billing
• Experience with Redis for rate limiting and state management
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures
