Position: Technical Supervisor


Job Overview:

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the technician team at the service center. This role involves ensuring that service and repair tasks are completed efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer service, and providing technical guidance to the team. The Technical Supervisor will also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.

- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, address issues, and plan upcoming work.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Monitor and evaluate the quality of technical work performed by technicians.

- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to technicians as needed.

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.

- Assign tasks and manage work schedules to ensure efficient workflow.

- Oversee the service and repair process, ensuring timely completion of services.

- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; ensure availability and proper functioning of resources

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and resolving customer issues  with technicians promptly.

- Communicate with customers when needed to provide updates on service status and explain technical issues.

- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including job orders, parts used, and technician performance.

- Generate reports on service center operations and technician performance for management review.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.

- Minimum of  6+ years of experience in a technical role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.

- Proficiency in diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and technical equipment relevant to the service center.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
