- Position: Junior Trade Marketing Executive
- Job Summary
The Junior Trade Marketing Executive supports the execution of marketing activities at the point of sale across dealers, showrooms, and electronics chains. The role ensures our brands are well displayed, properly promoted, and supported by trained sales staff, with the goal of driving sell-out and strengthening relationships with retail partners.
- Duties & Responsibilities
1. In-Store Visibility & Merchandising
- Visit retail outlets regularly to check product display, planogram compliance, and shelf/floor-space allocation
- Make sure POS materials (wobblers, shelf-talkers, price tags, banners, gondola-end branding) are installed correctly and in good condition
- Follow up on new product displays and ensure new models are on the floor quickly after launch
- Report competitor displays, pricing, and activations
2. Promotions & Campaign Execution
- Roll out monthly and seasonal promotions (Ramadan, summer AC campaigns, Black Friday, back-to-school, year-end)
- Make sure promo prices, offers, and gifts-with-purchase are properly communicated and applied at outlets
- Support launch events, in-store activations, and roadshows
- Coordinate with the sales team so promo stock is available before campaigns start
3. POS Materials & Production Coordination
- Prepare briefs for POS items and coordinate with designers, printers, and suppliers
- Manage the inventory of POS materials and track distribution across outlets
- Make sure materials are delivered and installed on schedule
- Track costs and keep records within the allocated budget
4. Dealer & Retailer Support
- Act as a point of contact for dealers regarding marketing materials, promotions, and display needs
- Support the sales team during dealer visits and meetings
- Collect feedback from retailers on customer behavior, product demand, and market trends
5. Sales Staff Training Support
- Help organize product training sessions for retailer sales staff and promoters
- Prepare simple training materials, product comparison sheets, and key selling points
- Follow up on promoter attendance and performance where applicable
6. Market & Competitor Monitoring
- Conduct regular price checks and share competitor activity reports
- Track competitor promotions, new product launches, and display strategies
- Provide simple weekly/monthly summaries with photos and observations
7. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare store visit reports, display audits, and promotion tracking sheets
- Maintain updated databases of outlets, POS materials, and campaign data
- Support sell-out analysis by compiling data from the sales team and retailers
- Assist in preparing brand/principal reports and claims for marketing support funds
8. Digital & Content Support (Secondary)
- Help prepare product catalogs, price lists, and promotional flyers for dealers
- Support social media and WhatsApp communication with dealers and customers
- Collect photos and content from in-store activations
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
Experience
- 0-2 years in marketing, trade marketing, sales, sales support, or merchandising (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome)
- Experience in FMCG, electronics, or retail is a plus
Skills
- Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic design and presentation skills (Canva is a plus)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good organization and follow-up discipline
- Basic analytical skills for reading sales and price data
- Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
