Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage the end-to-end recruitment process from receiving employee requests to monitoring performance through the probationary period. The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures efficient talent sourcing, timely hiring, smooth onboarding, and effective follow-up to support workforce planning and business growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and validate manpower requests from departments in line with the approved workforce plan.
  • Coordinate with department heads and HR planning to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Ensure timely approval and documentation of staffing requests.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, agencies, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers for technical assessments and final interviews.
  • Ensure a positive candidates experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare job offers, negotiate terms, and coordinate with HR for onboarding documents.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for tools, access, and orientation schedules.
  • Ensure all new employee data is accurately recorded and processed.
  • Track and follow up on each new hires probation period progress.
  • Coordinate with department heads for performance evaluations during and at the end of the probation.
  • Ensure documentation of confirmation, extension, or termination decisions.
  • Address any early-stage performance or fit issues with managers and HR.
  • Maintain recruitment dashboards, trackers, and hiring reports.
  • Ensure all processes are aligned with company policy and labor regulations.
  • Support internal audits by providing accurate recruitment and onboarding records.


    Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.

    Experience:

      • 3 - 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
      • Experience in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.

    Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of recruitment tools, platforms, and best practices.
    • Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
    • Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
    • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/ATS platforms.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential information professionally.
