Job Purpose:
Is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations performance management system. This role involves developing strategies to improve employee performance, facilitating regular performance appraisals, providing guidance to management, and ensuring that the performance management process aligns with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and implement the organizations performance management system, including goal-setting, evaluation, feedback, and development processes.
- Develop performance standards and KPIs for various roles across the organization.
- Ensure the performance management system aligns with the organizations overall strategy and objectives.
- Work with department heads and team leaders to set measurable performance goals for employees.
- Ensure that individual and team objectives are clearly communicated and aligned with the organization's broader strategic goals.
- Oversee the administration of periodic performance reviews, including annual , semi-annual, and quarterly evaluations.
- Train managers and supervisors on conducting fair, objective, and effective performance evaluations.
- Facilitate performance appraisal meetings and ensure constructive feedback is provided to employees.
- Collaborate department managers to identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations.
- Design and implement career development programs to support employees growth and improvement.
- Monitor progress on employee development plans and provide guidance as needed.
- Address underperformance by working with managers to create and monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Provide coaching to employees and managers to improve performance and resolve performance-related issues.
- Track and analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports on overall employee performance, department-level performance, and other relevant metrics .
- Use data to drive decision-making on talent management and organizational performance strategies.
- Ensure that the performance management process complies with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Maintain consistency and fairness in the application of performance management policies across the organization.
- Promote a culture of open feedback, where employees are encouraged to participate in their own performance assessment and improvement.
- Regularly solicit feedback from employees and managers on the performance management process and make improvements as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 5 - 8 years proven experience in performance management, talent development, or a related HR function.
- Strong understanding of performance management best practices, tools, and systems
Competencies:
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency with performance management software and systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).
