About the job Financial Analyst
Job Purpose:
To prepare, analyze, and submit detailed performance and financial reports, contribute to strategic business planning, and support various projects through in-depth analysis and financial modeling. The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between the division and finance teams, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting and business processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and submit performance reports, including MIS monthly reports, quarterly and annual reports, and business plans.
- Analyze sales and aftersales performance, assessing statistical data and value contribution to overall profitability.
- Study and identify strategic, competitive, and operational opportunities, dependencies, and risks, including undertaking performance benchmarking studies.
- Administer and process comprehensive incentive schemes, ensuring their alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial viability assessments of various ad hoc projects, constructing financial models to support decision-making.
- Serve as the interface between the division and shared finance services, ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries.
- Conduct basic to detailed analysis on the business requirements and their potential impacts.
- Ensure that all business processes and procedures are accurately documented for superior reporting and knowledge capture.
- Collaborate closely with support functions to gather and analyze requirements, enhance the maturity of operational processes, and foster a culture focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Create PowerPoint presentations to present solutions or concepts required for dealer meetings or internal discussions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, finance, or related fields.
- Proven experience in report preparation, financial modeling, and performance analysis.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to document processes and procedures comprehensively.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with financial software and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
