Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage sales operations at a national level, ensuring the implementation of effective sales strategies, process optimization, and performance tracking. The National Sales Operations Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth, supporting the sales team, and aligning operations with company objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overseeing daily operations, monitoring daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and providing guidance to achieve them.
- Strategize process improvement based on best business practices, such as customer profiling, leads follow up, walk-in measurements, and delivery processes.
- Monitoring and optimizing KPI process.
- Ensuring job quality control and suggesting development strategy.
- Analyzing market trends and identifying areas of improvements.
- Keeping abreast of what competitors are doing.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics to the General Manager.
- Inventory monitoring & analyzing.
- Monitor and improve CSI through implementation of proactive customer-oriented sales management techniques.
- Monitoring all marketing activities & campaigns.
- Active involvement in BP & budget preparation and progress monitoring.
- Active involvement in product planning, forecasting and ordering.
- Liaising with other line managers as per GM guidance.
- Fulfil any requirement requested by the GM.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales operations, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing national or large-scale sales operations, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of sales operations, CRM systems, and sales performance management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in sales software, Microsoft Office Suite, and business intelligence tools.
