Job Purpose:
To promote and sell commercial vehicles to individual and corporate customers by identifying their needs, offering tailored solutions, and delivering a seamless sales experience. The Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting sales targets, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the growth of AHCLs market presence in the commercial vehicle segment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Promote awareness of AHCLs Commercial Vehicles products and services in the market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits and manage an effective and structured visit plan.
- Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for every deal in line with company policies.
- Provide timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasts supported by a detailed quote bank.
- Collaborate with peers and share best practices to enhance team performance and overall sales effectiveness.
- Conduct detailed customer needs analysis and recommend appropriate vehicle models and configurations.
- Maintain proactive follow-up on prospects and pipeline opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale.
- Coordinate with the Sales Admin team to ensure timely vehicle delivery, registration, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer and vehicle data in CRM systems.
- Prepare and submit sales performance reports to the Sales Manager.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the commercial vehicle range, including specifications, features, applications, and competitive positioning.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Participate in training programs and brand initiatives to continuously improve knowledge and effectiveness.
Education:
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in vehicle sales, preferably in commercial or fleet segments.
- Experience with B2B customers and long sales cycles is highly desirable.
Competencies:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
- Strong team collaboration and initiative-taking mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driving license required.
