Job Purpose:
To support and administer HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with HR policies. The HR Specialist ensures that HR processes run smoothly and provides support to both employees and management in HR-related matters.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and necessary paperwork to ensure a smooth transition.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, updates, and answering employee inquiries about benefits programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide support on employee relations matters, assisting with conflict resolution, workplace concerns, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with the performance review process, providing resources and support to managers and employees.
- Manage employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Conduct exit interviews, gathering feedback for organizational improvement and analyzing retention trends.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement and wellness initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies in all HR processes.
- Support HR projects, such as policy updates, training programs, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Prepare HR reports, including turnover rates, absenteeism, and other key metrics for management review.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in its HR practices.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Proven experience in handling various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
