POSITION OVERVIEW

The DTS team is expanding its Oracle PeopleSoft delivery capability. We are hiring a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to work on Campus Solutions implementations, upgrades, and enhancements for higher education clients. This is a hands-on development role. The person will build and customize PeopleSoft components, integrate with third-party systems, resolve production issues, and support delivery through UAT and go-live. The role sits inside a project delivery team and works closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders. It is based in Lahore and requires full-time, on-site presence.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We want a strong, hands-on PeopleSoft developer with real delivery experience in Campus Solutions. This is not a support-only or purely functional profile. The right person has spent the last four to seven years building and retrofitting PeopleSoft objects, has seen full implementation and upgrade cycles end to end, and can turn a functional requirement into a working technical solution without heavy supervision.

They should be fluent across the core PeopleTools stack, comfortable moving between Fluid and Classic development, and confident owning a piece of work from design through deployment. They should have built integrations with external systems such as payment gateways and learning management platforms and be able to produce clean reports when the requirement calls for it. Higher education domain knowledge matters. Experience with Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, Curriculum Management, Academic Advisement, and Campus Community will let the person contribute quickly and speak the client's language. Beyond the code, we want someone dependable in a client delivery setting. That means clear communication, a structured approach to problem solving, discipline around UAT and defect resolution, and the maturity to work directly with functional teams and client stakeholders. Candidates who have mentored junior developers or led a workstream will stand out.

CORE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.57 to 8.62.
• Strong hands-on PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Application Package development.
• Component Interfaces, custom records, pages, and components.
• Fluid and Classic UI development and customization.
• Integration Broker with REST and SOAP web services, plus file-based and SFTP interfaces.
• Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) for role-based approval processes.
• BI Publisher, PS Query, and SQR reporting.
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to analyze and tune queries.
• Data migration, conversion, and reconciliation during implementations and upgrades.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Exposure to PeopleSoft Financials or HCM alongside Campus Solutions.
• Integrations with LMS platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Koha.
• Experience retrofitting customizations across PeopleTools upgrades.
• Prior work with GCC or international university clients.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading a delivery workstream.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop PeopleSoft customizations and enhancements against functional requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party systems.
• Develop batch processes with validation, transformation, and error handling.
• Support data migration and post-migration validation during implementations and upgrades.
• Provide production support, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, and deployment across environments.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
