Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced DBA Specialist to manage and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in production, UAT, and development environments. The role involves performance tuning, replication, backup/recovery, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle & PostgreSQL databases.

• Perform installation, patching, and configuration.

• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Configure replication, high availability, and clustering solutions.

• Implement security measures and troubleshoot database issues.

• Write automation scripts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years DBA experience with Oracle & PostgreSQL.

• Strong SQL/PLpgSQL and Linux knowledge (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

• Experience with replication, clustering, and backup tools (RMAN, pgBackRest, Dataguard, RAC, Patroni).

Preferred:

• Database certifications (OCP), cloud DB experience (AWS RDS, Azure), automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Education:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in production environments.
