 Job Description:

Assistant Manager Payable and Taxation

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Supervise accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment disbursements.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including setting up new vendors and verifying tax documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze AP aging reports and ensure timely clearance of outstanding liabilities.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Oversee payroll disbursement via direct deposit, checks, or other payment methods.
  • Verify payroll data for accuracy before finalizing disbursements.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

Tax Assessment & Compliance:

  • Support income tax assessments and assisting in tax audits.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Prepare financial and tax-related reports for management review.
  • Review and ensure accurate tax withholding, reporting, and remittance for vendor payments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: ACCA/CA Inter/ACMA or masters degree in accounting, Finance, or any equivalent level of education.
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable and tax compliance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. CA firm experience will be preferred.
