Director Sales

 Job Description:

Abacus is seeking a highly accomplished and commercially driven Director Sales – KSA to lead its enterprise growth strategy within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This quota-carrying leadership role will be responsible for driving large, multi-year transformation engagements across Data & AI, Cloud Migration & Modernization, API Management, and Integration Platforms.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building strategic pipeline, closing complex seven-figure opportunities, and positioning Abacus as a trusted digital transformation partner across both public and private sector enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Growth Leadership

  • Own and deliver annual revenue targets (net fee-based).

  • Build, develop, and maintain a qualified enterprise pipeline with 3–5x coverage.

  • Drive closure of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.

  • Lead large-scale transformation programs, including multi-million USD opportunities.

  • Engage effectively with executive technology stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO offices).

2. Strategic Account Development

  • Identify, prioritize, and penetrate the top enterprise accounts in KSA.

  • Establish and nurture C-level relationships across key verticals, including:

    • Government & Giga Projects

    • Financial Services

    • Telecommunications

    • Energy & Utilities

    • Large Conglomerates

  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans.

  • Drive long-term value creation through consultative selling and solution alignment.

3. Hyperscaler & Ecosystem Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and strategic industry teams.

  • Position Abacus as a preferred partner for:

    • Data & AI initiatives

    • Cloud modernization programs

    • API-led transformation strategies

  • Build joint pipeline initiatives with hyperscaler and ecosystem partners, including CNTXT.

  • Drive co-sell motions and strategic partner-led opportunities.

4. Solution Positioning & Evangelization

Lead market-facing sales efforts across Abacus core offerings:

  • Data & AI (AI/ML, Generative AI, AI Agents, Data Platforms)

  • Cloud Migration & Modernization

  • API Management & Monetization

  • Application & Platform Integration (iPaaS)

  • Articulate business value and transformation outcomes to executive stakeholders.

  • Position Abacus as a strategic transformation advisor rather than a transactional vendor.

5. Leadership & Market Presence

  • Represent Abacus at industry events, executive forums, and strategic engagements.

  • Drive brand visibility and thought leadership within the KSA transformation ecosystem.

  • Mentor and support enterprise account managers as the regional team scales.

  • Contribute to overall regional strategy and market expansion initiatives.

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales.

  • Strong, demonstrable enterprise network within KSA.

  • Proven track record of closing $1M+ transformation deals.

  • Experience selling enterprise solutions in areas such as:

    • Cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud)

    • Data & analytics platforms

    • API management and integration solutions

  • Solid understanding of Saudi Vision 2030 and related transformation initiatives.

  • Experience engaging with senior executive stakeholders and decision-makers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

  • Prior exposure to hyperscaler-led enterprise deals.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

  • Experience working with government entities and large public-sector programs in KSA.

Success Metrics

Performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Annual revenue target achievement.

  • Pipeline coverage ratio (3–5x).

  • Closure of multi-year, strategic transformation deals.

  • Strategic account penetration and expansion.

  • Hyperscaler co-sell success metrics.
