POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Networking SME with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud networking, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Apigee platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, provisioning, and managing secure cloud landing zones and networking environments supporting enterprise API management and federated architectures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and provision secure GCP landing zones for enterprise environments
• Configure and manage GCP networking components including:
• VPCs
• Subnets
• Firewall Rules
• Cloud NAT
• Load Balancers
• Private Service Connect
• Hybrid Connectivity solutions
• Implement IAM policies and cloud security best practices
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Support deployment and networking requirements for:
• Apigee
• Developer Portal (DevPortal)
• Federated and multi-environment architectures
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably GKE)
• Collaborate closely with architecture, DevOps, and application teams for environment provisioning and troubleshooting
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, high availability, monitoring, and security compliance
• Support CI/CD integration and automation initiatives
• Troubleshoot cloud networking, DNS, routing, and connectivity-related issues

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deep expertise in GCP Networking and Security
• Hands-on experience with:
• Docker
• Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
• Terraform
• Experience with Apigee platform deployment and networking integration
• Strong knowledge of:
• Private Service Connect
• IAM
• Cloud Armor
• Secure landing zone architecture
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure concepts
• Experience working with Linux-based environments and scripting

Preferred Skills

• GCP Certifications:
• Professional Cloud Network Engineer
• Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience with Developer Portal (DevPortal) deployment and integration
• Exposure to hybrid cloud and federated architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience Required

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and networking
• Prior experience in enterprise-scale GCP implementations is highly preferred
