We are hiring a minimum of 4 new Senior Data Engineers to join their existing Data team of 13 really great engineers and architects!
First, let's cover the basics;
Hybrid work with 1 day per week at the office in central Helsinki.
Salary range of 5600 - 6500€ per month, may be a little more, depending on your experience and skills.
Travel? Not really, but you can visit seminars, events and international offices as needed (not mandatory by any means).
Company languages are Finnish and English, both required for the job.

What you'll be doing:
- Designing and implementing data solutions, work on data modeling, building data pipelines, and ensuring data quality within Azure-based solutions.
- Working with cutting-edge Azure technologies and dive deep into Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and other cloud-native tools to solve complex data engineering challenges.
- Working alongside data architects, cloud and software engineering teams to deliver robust data platforms.
- Researching new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the company's offerings.
- Automating with DevOps and DataOps tools. Use modern automation techniques and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of data platforms.
- Participating in client-facing projects and work directly with clients to gather requirements, solve problems, and implement solutions that meet their needs.
What we hope you'd bring in:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud development, including solid experience working with cloud platforms.
- Strong SQL skills: Experience with data queries, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Good knowledge of Python for data processing and automation tasks.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, understanding of data transformation pipelines and integration best practices.
- Experience with modern data architectures, previous experience with Data Fabric, Lakehouse, or Medallion architecture is highly desirable.
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake, any familiarity with these platforms is highly beneficial.
- DevOps/DataOps mindset, a strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and version control (Git).
- Fluency in both Finnish and English.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric. The role will involve working with Microsoft Fabric, so experience or strong interest in learning Fabric is a bonus.
- Experience and interest in data security, AI, or data science
- API development: Knowledge of RESTful API integrations and development is a plus.
