GIS Product Owner

Our client in San Francisco CA is looking for a Senior Product Owner (W2 Contractor). The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker passionate about innovative solutions and results-driven. The position requires a strong understanding of GIS technologies and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

• The successful candidate will support mobile GIS application development projects and other GIS projects, including defining product features, managing the product backlog, bugs, and tasks in Microsoft Azure DevOps software
• This role is crucial in ensuring that the development process aligns with client needs and expectations, and it involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of the projects
• Demonstrated professional experience managing software development teams and executing the software development life cycle
• Experience working with the ESRI Suite of software including ESRI ArcGIS desktop, web, and/or mobile products
• Experience managing software development deployments
• Ability to develop written technical documentation such as release notes, software requirements, user guides, and configuration management
• Project management experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps software
• Experience with mobile GIS products (e.g., ESRI, ArcGIS Field Maps, ESRI Collector, ESRI Survey123)
• Experience developing products for external clients
• Experience writing geoprocessing scripts and configuring Web GIS applications

Contract W2 Position.

Must be able to work M-F on site in San Francisco CA
