Next.js Senior Frontend Engineer.  Onsite in NYC (M-F)

Join a high-growth NYC-based startup as a Frontend Engineer, where you'll design and scale production-grade agents that perform legal tasks with expert-level reasoning. Collaborate closely with founders, legal experts, and the product team to deploy AI systems in high-stakes workflows used by lawyers worldwide.

Required Tech stack

JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, ShadCN

Responsibilities:

• Build intuitive and optimized UI/UX using React and TypeScript for workflows integrating reasoning LLMs and agentic architectures.
• Engage in zero-to-one product development by rapidly prototyping, evaluating, integrating, and testing new product features alongside customers and the legal team.
• Develop new AI-native workflows by implementing streaming, long-running tasks, procedural UX, etc., balancing state-of-the-art techniques with pragmatism.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience building production-quality frontend applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js.
• Proven ability to create polished, intuitive user interfaces with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage company with a focus on ownership and rapid iteration.

Looking For:

• Candidates with experience building production-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript, and must be able to provide/talk about examples of projects where you significantly improved UI/UX, including metrics used to measure impact.
• Individuals who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and have contributed to product development from zero to one.
• Experience with Next.js and implementing features like streaming or long-running tasks.
• Willingness to be on-site or relocate if necessary to NYC
