SALES REPRESENTATIVE - $17/Hr

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday - Friday,  Saturdays (rotation)

Job description

We are currently hiring a Sales Reps specializing in aftermarket parts for the heavy duty trucking industry. We are looking for candidates that have a friendly personality, excellent communication skills, and are self-motivated. Our goal is to expand our current sales team as we grow and focus on new areas and opportunities. You will be assisting and training with our seasoned sales team to gain knowledge of our industry and you will have the opportunity to help expand our ability to reach more consumers and provide the high quality parts and service that set us apart.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not a fully inclusive list)

  • Spending time with customers (online, in person, on the phone) to determine their needs and discuss options.
  • Seeking new and creative possibilities for decreasing current aging/surplus/used inventory items.
  • Thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment, be able to multi-task.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and return email/voicemail
  • Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
  • Building good relationship and communication with the Install & Warehouse Admins.
  • Providing outstanding customer service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal candidate must have a clear desire to succeed and a strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude and team mentality.
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience (1-2 years)
  • Knowledge of automotive, equipment, and systems is preferred but not required.
  • An eagerness to learn the industry, products, and services.
  • Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a people person")
  • Basic computer, email and internet proficiency
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy/changing environment.
  • Saturday availability is needed (rotation)
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management is a plus
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license / able to pass background check/ able to pass drug screen
