On behalf of our client, a new craft café and bakery built around the traditions of fermentation in food and beverage, we are seeking dependable team members for their flagship opening in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, planned for late 2026.

Job Title: Dishwasher

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

Employment Type: Full-Time (2 openings)

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Shift Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

You will keep the kitchen and floor running cleanly and smoothly, handling dishwashing along with inventory and cleaning duties. It is a behind-the-scenes role that every other position depends on, and an essential part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dish & Cookware Washing: Hand-washing and machine-washing dishes, utensils, and pots and pans

• Inventory Checks: Monitoring stock of consumables such as detergents, gloves, and paper goods

• Order Support: Reviewing and supporting supply order lists from the kitchen and floor

• Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen and dining floors, and sorting and removing trash and recycling

• Prep Assistance: Supporting basic prep during busy periods when asked

• Sanitation: Following handwashing and equipment sanitizing standards, and performing first-line pest-prevention checks

Qualifications & Experience:

• No prior experience required; kitchen or restaurant experience welcome

• Ability to work a consistent 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM shift
