Job Summary:

IT Supervisor is responsible for supervising the IT Engineer Support while they complete repairs and installations. IT supervisor will supervise that upgrades and maintain a company's computer systems, including databases, mainframe systems, data communication networks and software programs.

Responsibilities:

· Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer

· Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

· Answer user inquiries regarding software and/or hardware operation to resolve issues

· Set up equipment for employee use, performing and/or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems and/or appropriate software

· Oversee Set up of system account and email

· Oversee Set up of mobile devices

· Refer hardware/software problems and/or defective products to vendors/technicians for service

· Administration of Windows Server Systems and local area network infrastructure

· Perform remote/on site troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users

· Pass on any unresolved issues, feedback, or suggestions by users to the internal and external IT team

· Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

· Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers

· Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives

· Creating user accounts and performing access control

· Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data

· Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Expert experience operating Microsoft Office Suite software

· Problems-solving skills

· Critical thinking skills

· Leadership and coaching skills

· Detailed-oriented with excellent organization skills

· Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, database, and remote control.

· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, network, and other tech products

· Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

· Proficiency in English, Japanese

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

· Ability to deal with confidential information.

· BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 15 lbs. unassisted

· Ability to enter and maneuver in confined spaces

· Willingness to work overtime upon request in order to complete such tasks associated with the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
