One of our clients, a Japanese IT Firm, is looking for a Senior Engineer in NYC.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing team in New York City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of server technologies, Active Directory, and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

Responsibilities:

  • Deployment, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure.

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain services.

  • Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Azure environments.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of server infrastructure.

  • Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for server infrastructure and processes.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of server hardware and software, including Windows Server.

  • Extensive experience with Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure environment deployment, operation, and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS cloud platform.

  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure Administrator).

  • Japanese language skills.

*This position requires presence in our New York City office 2-3 days per week.
