Sales Representative (Exempt)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with key clients, and promoting our extensive range of food and beverage products.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Work directly with key contact persons of the company, customers, and clients to promote products, participate in trade shows, conduct demonstrations, and manage other special projects.
- Conduct regular weekly meetings with partners to ensure alignment and drive sales initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the distributor and retail stores, conducting shelf checks and surveys as required.
Sales Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze various sales data, both historical and current, to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports on business transactions and develop compelling presentation materials for sales promotions and meetings.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct market research through store visits, trade publications, trade shows, and web monitoring to stay informed of industry trends.
- Utilize sales data analysis to propose and implement effective sales strategies that align with market trends and customer needs.
Sales Promotion and Business Development:
- Promote new product launches and drive sales growth through strategic initiatives.
- Travel within the US and internationally for business activities to promote sales and expand market reach.
Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English is required; fluency in an additional language is a significant plus.
- Must be able to travel.
