  • Salary Range: $45,700~54,000.00 per year (Final salary will be determined based on experience and skills)
  • Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM (May be required to work after normal business hours and weekends)
  • Experience: 1-2 year of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in one's expertise. 

A leading Japanese Travel company is hiring a Corporate Senior Staff position in New York. This position is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative functions, organizational activities, and communications-oriented duties executed in order to coordinate the efficient and cost-effective performance of Planning and Operation.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assen & Emergency Control:

  • Issues and mails out Voucher for some Suppliers.
  • Issues 2nd and past due invoices (determination and payment request of sales price and refund amount).
  • Prepares itinerary and other documents for group guides and escorts.
  • Assists group onsite operations when necessary (hotel check-in, restaurant assist, bus dispatch, etc.).
  • Handles each accident at the time of occurrence and reports to Management.
  • Makes modifications such as trip schedule changes (Delays, Return to Japan).
  • Makes calls to Emergency Contacts in Japan.
  • Manages irregular incidents such as flight delays, cancelations, and other irregularities under Management supervision.
  • Reports to related agencies and suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Answers questions from clients regarding various matters and inquiries, etc.
  • Settles A/R as needed.
  • Solves customer issues and complaints and makes summary reports to superiors.
  • Provides feedback and makes suggestions on solutions on issues and communicates with related internal departments for improvement.
  • Provides feedback to related suppliers.
  • Reports customer feedback to Management.
  • Promotes on-tour sales and controls A/R for the sales.
  • Controls guide service quality.



Expansion of our Market & Profit:

  • Proposes sales material and increases the profits.
  • Assists and accompanies with the specific group.



Other Duties:

  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions.
  • Maintains good communication with your superiors, office staff members and outside contacts.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Possesses 1-2 year of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in one's expertise.
  • Possesses basic knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities but requires close supervision.
  • Valid U.S. drivers license required.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
