Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer with a strong focus on IT Support and expertise in Microsoft technologies. You will perform operational and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and efficiency of computer systems.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's business needs while resolving day-to-day IT incidents, such as hardware and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact point to provide IT support and assistance for internal staff by giving them the required support in terms of hardware and network-related issues.
• Configure and deploy solutions using Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Azure Active Directory.
• Manage and deploy software applications using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Provide assistance setting up new laptops for new and existing employees.
• Manages the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function.
• Attend IT onsite hardware maintenance work and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in creating best practice activities, amendments, and reference manuals to provide training and guidance for users.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes aligned with ITIL frameworks.
• Proficient in managing, configuring, and maintaining hardware firewalls and network devices.
• A Strong understanding and experience on Microsoft Office 365 administration.
• Proficient in managing, configuring, and maintaining hardware firewalls and network devices.
• End-user support experience on Windows 10 & 11, Linux and Apple Mac platforms.
• Solid ability to provide excellent end-user service and experience.
• Be resourceful and a quick thinker to troubleshoot the latest and critical technical issues as they arise.
