Software Tester/ QA Engineer

Job Summary:
A detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester/ QA Engineer with 2-3 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in manual testing, a solid understanding of test automation, and exceptional communication skills. As a team player, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive manual testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create test plans and cases.
• Report, track, and document bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
• Participate in team discussions to improve testing strategies and processes.
• Ensure software meets business and technical requirements through rigorous testing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and test automation practices.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG) and a basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.

• Soft Skills: Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.

• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work as part of a team, contributing to group problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with performance or API testing tools.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
