Finance Intern

We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our team in Colombo. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within a dynamic, tech-driven organization. You will work closely with our finance team on a variety of tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the accounts payable process and day-to-day accounting tasks

• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Conduct financial analysis and assist in interpreting financial data

• Facilitate communication within the finance department

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Assist with data entry and maintaining financial records

• Contribute to other finance-related projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or CMA

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and financial knowledge

• Good understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks (QB) is an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Interest in technology and the digital industry
