Light Vehicle Driver

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles, including 3-ton trucks and vans, and supporting residential and commercial moving services. This role involves dismantling, packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and reassembling items to ensure safe and efficient relocations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate light vehicles, including 3-ton trucks and vans.

• Dismantle and reassemble furniture and other items as required for transport.
• Wrap, pack, and label items securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Load and unload items in an organized and safe manner.
• Unpack and reassemble items at the destination.
• Inspect items and report or document any damages during packing or moving.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the moving team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to client requests or concerns.

Requirements

• Valid light vehicle driving license.
• Ability to drive 3-ton trucks and vans.
• Previous packing or packer experience is a strong plus.
• Experience in moving, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends when required.
