About the job Engineering Surveyor - Infrastructure & Civil Projects
Be part of an innovative surveying company as it evolves with changes in technology and practices! Not a role for a tried and true, process driven surveyor, this company attracts and keeps interested surveyors who enjoy being at the forefront of techniques that look to make the world of surveying a smarter and easier environment to operate in.
Prior to my 18 years in recruitment, I worked around Australia as a mining and engineering surveyor, so please feel free to get in touch if my network can serve you elsewhere.
Work is getting busier and the variety of projects is changing. Technology is allowing for smarter work to be completed at a greater degree of safety, with more distance covered. Minesite, civil and cadastral clients are seeing the benefit of working with technologically advanced surveying contractors and the order book is screaming out that more surveyors are needed.
A PD wouldnt do justice to this role; it will be about utilising a triple combination of your education, your outcome based surveying delivery skills and your ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions. You will be using 3D scanning, mobile laser scanning and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Responsibilities
An immediate project will ideally see you have experience representing a sub contractor / surveying or multidisciplinary consultancy working on mid sized civils projects. You will be comfortable in the delivery of first class surveying skills and know how to escalate potential concerns prior to them becoming issues.
You will be at least Diploma qualified in Surveying and be highly competent in a number of equipment and software items, such as Leica, Topcon, UAVs 12D, DJI Matrice M300, Phantom 4 RTK drones, Maptek XR3CT scanner & Machine Guidance Systems Trimble GPSs.
Reward
On top of a very market aware remuneration package, further CPD and registration costs to survey boards is supported and funded.
