About the Role
Our client is a major infrastructure services contractor delivering road network maintenance and asset management programs across Sydney under a long-term performance contract with a NSW Government road authority.
This is a specialist scheduling role within Network Operations, responsible for end-to-end programming and delivery coordination of ITS and electrical works — from work order creation through to field completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Day-to-day scheduling and forecasting for ITS and tactical work crews
- Developing and maintaining programs across planned maintenance, tactical works, minor upgrades, fault response, and special projects
- Managing a broad asset portfolio: traffic control signals (TCS), variable message signs (VMS), traffic monitoring units (TMU), variable speed limit signs (VSLS), school zone signs, street lighting, and roadside electronic equipment
- Ensuring work orders align with allocated resources and are deliverable within KPI and Asset Performance Measure (APM) obligations
- Sequencing work to minimise network and customer impact
- Developing contingency plans and corrective actions when delivery deviates from program
- Liaising with delivery teams, environmental advisors, asset management staff, and customer and stakeholder teams
- Preparing accurate work estimates, reporting on work order status, and driving process improvements
What You'll Need
- ITS or electrical trade background — an electrical licence is highly regarded
- Certificate III in Construction or equivalent (desirable)
- 2–3 years minimum in a comparable scheduling or works coordination role
- Demonstrated understanding of road maintenance and ITS asset management delivery within a NSW road network context
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project (or equivalent scheduling tool)
- Current driver's licence

You'll be expected to actively identify hazards, comply with WH&S and environmental policies, and model safe behaviours at all times.
