Job Requirements:

  • Support day-to-day operations and administration of the Library
  • Liaise with relevant divisions on facilities management, IT and security matters
  • Operate the Library Management System eg. book borrowing, book search,circulation, cataloguing
  • Manage the inter-library loans to support the information needs for library users
  • Answer enquires received from all channels, including enquiries from walk-in users, by telephone and through emails (internal & external).
  • Library information guides: develop / update guides/information flyers for use by Library users
  • Maintain online content on the Librarys webpage to ensure that all resources uploaded are accessible, relevant and up-to-date
  • Processing library items on the LMS including barcoding all library items and attach holdings, process weeding as instructed by the Librarian

Job Requirements:

  • A recognized diploma (preferably from a local polytechnic) with at least 4 years of relevant working experience in an library/resource centre/research institution
  • Possess good research skills and is able to synthesize and present information clearly
  • Service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
