Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall performance of the business with direct P&L responsibility
  • Develop and execute the companys business strategies in order to achieve KPIs as agreed with the management team
  • Ensure business plans are being put in place and reviewed on a periodic basis
  • Oversee the short-term and long-term strategic direction of the business
  • Review and analyze business performance on a regular periodic basis (i.e. monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual)
  • Establish a lean world-class team that drives efficiency and output at the highest of levels
  • Accountability for the organizational efficiency of the business towards continuous development and improvement, constantly achieving new targets and milestones
  • Fully understand the external competitive landscape and to oversee strategy development for growth, expansion, product development and customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years experience in leading sizeable teams or business units with proven track records
  • Minimally a Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Business or similar
  • Possess technical background and experience in Agile, Scrum, Salesforce and other related technologies, while also possessing acute business acumen to effectively manage commercial objectives
  • Budget ownership and/or P&L responsibility
  • Prior experience in mobile application development and product launch, with end to end involvement from pre-product strategic discussions through to post launch product lifecycle analysis and review.
  • Direct accountability and lead role for projects of sizeable revenue (minimally USD$3mil or more)
  • Multilingual in nature. Proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Japanese to effectively liaise with senior management and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience, ideally in the Information Technology or tech-related industries
  • Advantageous to possess regional experience (APAC)
  • Effective communicator who is capable of influencing decisions from top management, peers and juniors alike
  • Exceptional leader who can clearly articulate, motivate and develop all people under his or her leadership.
