IT Project Manager

Job Description

Senwave Retail Solutions Sdn Bhd aims to provide SME retail chains, a seamless business platform that increases work efficiency and added value to the organization. We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, delegate, organize and manage the project in an efficient and effective manner and ensure project delivery within the time frame.

You are important to us:

• Responsible for planning, delegating, organizing and managing the project in an efficient and effective manner
• Ensuring project delivery within the time frame.
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate the effort required for each task
• Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resources requirement
• Delegate the task to technical team members and ensure they understand the concept of the project work
• Communicating, monitoring, and coaching team members regularly and adequately
• Track project progress through all phases and provide updates to top management
• Participating in and supervising each phase of the project
• Perform quality control on the project through development to keep up the standard expected
• Delivering completed software products to customers and performing regular checks on the product performance.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints.
• Able to understand technical issues and escalate issues as needed and drive solutions
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Follow the COO to attend every meeting
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• At Least 2-year experience in project management or any related experience in IT company or Retail Industry
• Ability to multitask and manage various projects elements simultaneously
• Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades.
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills to interact internally with management, customers, and support staff, and externally with the customer management level.
• Required Language(s) English.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Able to start immediately.

Desired knowledge:

• Project Management Skills will be a plus.
• IT background on retail industry and related software knowledge will be an added advantage
• Have an experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
