SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

·Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, code, unit test, implementation), including taking complete ownership of any assigned tasks

·Hands on front-end and back-end web development for responsive websites running on WordPress, WooCommerce and Dokan, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.

·Manage a small team of web developers by triaging tasks, assigning them to an appropriate resource, maintaining development and deployment schedules in collaboration with business stakeholders and project management.

· Develop and support the eCommerce application, including numerous API connections to other systems

·Develop solutions to meet the business requirements while meeting time and cost constraints

·Quickly learn challenging new technologies and contribute to modernizing our platform

·Translate and validate business requirements and transfer into functional/technical requirement documents working within the framework of the tools available

·Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality, security and optimization

·Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary

Qualifications

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Computer

Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

· Proficient in PHP, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, REST-

API, MYSQL

·Good knowledge in web application development, WordPress,

Woo Commerce, Dokan,

Backend and Frontend System Architecture and/or E-commerce website.

·Experience developing with PHP in a WordPress environment, including

custom themes and plugins.

· Knowledge of various back-end languages and their libraries

-Min 5 years of working experience in IT related field and at least 3 year(s) of experience in web development.
